Booking, Payment, and Cancellation Policy
Osa Outdoors Adventures
1. Payment Policies
Activities inside Corcovado National Park
- The total cost of services must be paid at least 30 days prior to the activity start date.
Aquatic activities and activities in the surroundings of Drake Bay
- A 50% deposit must be paid at least 15 days prior to the activity start date. The remaining 50% must be paid in cash on the day of the tour.
General Conditions
- After making any payment, the client must notify us by email at info@osaoutdoorsadventures.com, attaching the corresponding receipt.
- All rates and charges are established in United States Dollars (USD).
- Reservations are considered confirmed only when payment has been received and verified by Osa Outdoors Adventures.
International Transfers
- Wire Transfer (Bank-to-bank transfers using SWIFT code): For reservations made one month or more in advance.
- PayPal: For reservations made less than one month in advance.
- If PayPal is selected, an official form will be sent to the client, which must be completed to confirm the reservation.

Additional Considerations
- International transfer fees must be covered by the client.
- Osa Outdoors Adventures is not responsible for financial losses caused by technical failures during the transfer process.
- All payment information is handled securely and confidentially, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
2. Cancellation and Modification Policies
Activities inside Corcovado National Park
- Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the start date will incur no cost.
- Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the start date are non-refundable. The visit may be rescheduled, depending on park availability, with an additional 10% fee of the total booking amount.
- The Corcovado National Park Administration may cancel bookings without prior notice in circumstances beyond its control (natural disasters, unexpected closures, government regulations, etc.). In such cases, the visit will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
Aquatic activities and activities in the surroundings of Drake Bay
- Cancellations made 5 days or more prior to the start date will incur no cost.
- Cancellations made less than 5 days prior to the activity start date are entitled only to a 50% refund of the total amount paid.
General Rules
- If the client does not show up at the agreed meeting point, or arrives 15 minutes or more late, it will be considered a No-Show. In this case, no refund, rescheduling, or future credit applies.
- Osa Outdoors Adventures does not guarantee ideal weather conditions nor the sighting of specific wildlife species. These depend on natural, uncontrollable factors and are not grounds for partial or full refunds.
- The client must inform us in advance of any relevant medical condition. Failure to disclose this information exempts Osa Outdoors Adventures from responsibility for incidents, complications, limitations, or service interruptions and may result in denial of participation without refund.
- Changes requested by the client to route, duration, transportation, or other services do not generate refunds.
- Refunds will only be processed via PayPal or national bank transfer.
- Osa Outdoors Adventures will not cover bank fees or costs arising from refunds.

3. Important Notes
- Before making any payment, the client must receive a formal quote and confirmation of the total amount due.
- It is the client’s responsibility to verify that all agreed dates and information are correct.
- Once the service has been provided, no refunds will be issued.
- It is recommended to confirm availability before making any transfer to guarantee space on the requested date.
4. Insurance Policy
- Osa Outdoors Adventures maintains Civil Liability and Work Risk insurance policies with the National Insurance Institute (INS).
- All transportation services are fully insured for the safety and peace of mind of our clients.
- All activities are operated in accordance with safety and sustainability standards established by the Costa Rican Tourism Board (ICT) and the National System of Conservation Areas (SINAC).
5. Legal Clause
- This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica.
- Any disputes or claims arising from its interpretation or enforcement will be resolved under the jurisdiction of Costa Rican courts.
