Experience the best of Drake Bay in one unique package. Begin your day at 5:30 a.m. with guided birdwatching, spotting colorful species in the rich layers of the tropical rainforest. At 10:00 a.m., unwind with a rejuvenating full-body massage. As evening falls, embark on a 5:30 p.m. nocturnal walk, discovering frogs, insects, nocturnal birds, and other wildlife with a certified naturalist guide. This immersive experience connects you with the incredible biodiversity of the Osa Peninsula, offering relaxation, adventure, and a deeper appreciation of Costa Rica’s natural wonders.

Meet your certified guide, receive your birding equipment, and get ready for an exciting walk through the rainforest. 🌿🔭

🥾 3 Hours Guided Birdwatching Walk
Explore trails while observing birds in their natural habitat. Learn to identify species, their calls, behaviors, and the different forest strata they inhabit. Perfect for photographers and nature lovers alike. 🦜🐦

🏠 End of the Tour
Return to your pick-up point in Drake Bay.

📌 Estimated duration: 3 hours

10:00am _Massage for two people, one hour each. Relax your body after two days of hiking.

Meeting time: 5:30 p.m.
📍 Location: Super y Licorera Familia Castro – Bahía Drake

👋 5:30 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. | Introduction & Safety Briefing
Meet your certified naturalist guide, receive boots and flashlight, and get ready for your night jungle adventure. 🌿🔦

🌙 5:45 p.m. – 8:15 p.m. | Guided Night Walk (3 hours)
Explore rainforest trails under the dark mantle of the night. Spot frogs 🐸, insects 🦗, reptiles 🐍, nocturnal birds 🦉, and maybe even a mammal. Learn about the fascinating nocturnal behavior of the tropical forest. 🌌🌴

🏠 8:15 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. | End of the Tour
Return to the meeting point or transfer back to your hotel. 🚐

What to Bring 

Bird Watching

🧢 Hat or cap – Protection from the sun.

💧 Water bottle – Stay hydrated during the walk.

📸 Camera or smartphone – Capture the birds and landscapes.

🔭 Binoculars – If you have your own; otherwise, equipment is provided.

🥾 Closed-toe shoes or hiking boots – For safe and comfortable walking.

 

Night Walk

🩳 Long pants and socks – To protect against insects and scratches.

💧 Water bottle – Stay hydrated during the walk.

🦟 Insect repellent – in cream form to reduce environmental impact.

🔦 Flashlight or headlamp – Optional, a flashlight is provided if needed.

📸 Camera – Capture the nocturnal wildlife.

🧥 Poncho or dry bag – Recommended during the rainy season to protect your belongings.
