Humpback whales migrate to Costa Rica from two different hemispheres to breed and have their calves. The best whale watching seasons are:
Mid-July to mid-October – Southern Hemisphere whales travel from Antarctica to the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. ❄️➡️🌴
Mid-December to March – Northern Hemisphere whales travel from Alaska to Costa Rica. ❄️➡️🌴
No two tours are alike; sightings vary depending on the ocean conditions, weather, and wildlife behavior.
✨ Why choose us: Small groups, certified bilingual guides, eco-friendly practices, and safe, comfortable boats ensure the best chance to observe Costa Rica’s incredible marine life.
